My swimming experience from September to November was impressive because before I did swimming for P.E I wasn't the best swimmer. The first day I got into the pool for P.E was just like yesterday I remember feeling the tempeture of the water so when I got in I just threw myself in the water. It felt really good and very refreshing. Getting to a swimming pool in the hot weather is like therapy for me cause I feel relaxed. Finally I was just waiting to see how the lesson about swimming were going to be about.
After 2 days we started doing lesson on how to breath out underwater and swinging our arms forward. When I first breath out underwater it felt very odd, like you could feel the pressure of the air coming out your nose into the water. After I got used to breathing out from my nose into the water I started messing around making bubbles and holding my breath longer. In the end it actually help my lungs hold air a little bit longer underwater, so it was pretty impressive.
Now when I had to start getting used to the style of swimming my p.e teacher wanted it to be It was pretty hard. I've got used to swimming underwater and spreading my arms. For me it was challenging getting used to breathing out underwater and swimming above ground pool at the same time, which for me was a new style of swimming. After, getting used to swimming in that form of style and breathing out underwater I was a pretty fast swimmer but always need to work on holding your breath a little longer.
Swimming in P.E was impressive by the way I had fun. I've definitely learned a lot about swimming in P.E I've learned how to do better strokes and get faster. Swimming in that pool in mid September was amazing cause since the heat will cause you to feel exhausted once you get into that pool it was so refreshing and, so relieving. Swimming will probably go down as one of the best things I did for P.E.
Lastly the most important thing about swimming for P.E class was that at least I've learned something and improved on something. For example I've learned how to swim above water and hold my breath a lot longer underwater. One of my goals to complete in swimming in the future will be to be a even faster swimmer and for me to hold my breath just a little more longer. At, the end swimming was a cool experience.
